Gedling Colonics are pleased to offer Vitamin B12 Injections, administered by Sarah Weston, who was previously an NHS healthcare assistant prior to her hydrotherapy career.
Vitamin B12 Injection Benefits
We offer Methylcobalam B12 Injections – Why is this different?
There are two kinds of Vitamin B12 injectables out there, Cyanocobalam and Methylcobalam.
Cyanocobalamin is a man-made, synthetic version, which has low-level cyanide in it. The body has to break this version down before it can absorb the B12 vitamin. This takes more than 48 hours to break down to useable B12, and only a tiny amount is converted.
Methylcobalamin is a bio-available B12 – one of the two natural kinds of Vitamin B12. This is directly absorbed into the body straight away.
Who Will Be Giving Me My B12?
Our Sarah Weston used to run the flu and COVID inoculation clinics at the doctor’s surgery where she worked for over 11 years. Sarah is fully trained and carries all the required insurance for administering Vitamin B12 Jabs.
Part of Sarah’s remit whilst in the NHS was giving B12 injections to people who had medical requirements for the treatment, so you know you’ll be in safe hands.
Do I Need Vitamin B12?
We can organise an Essential Health Check test for you to look at your B12 levels, or you can even buy the Essential Health Check test kit to do yourself in the comfort of your own home. This covers 18 different health markers, including B12.
On submission, it then takes ten working days for the laboratory to get the results back to us. Ideally, you’d be looking to do the test a few weeks before your B12 injection appointment.
For more information or to book your treatment, you can either email jane@gedlingcolonics.co.uk, use our online booking form or call us on 0115 882 0292.
