Gedling Colonics offers an Essential Health Check Test, in conjunction with leading testing company York Laboratories.
The test checks for 19 different health markers and all that is required is a simple finger prick to allow a drop of blood to be taken.
- 19 different health markers, covering: cholesterol and triglycerides, liver function, vitamin D, iron deficiency, B12, and folate.
- Simple finger-prick blood test.
- Provides hospital standard, easy-to-read traffic light results.
- Supporting guidebook provided to help you make effective lifestyle changes.
- Receive advice to better support your overall health.
- Customers must be aged 18 years or over to take this test. This test is not available to customers who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Only available in the UK
How It Works
Payment will be taken at the primary appointment, which will take around 10 minutes.
Results take 10 working days to be analysed and when returned, we will run through the findings during a consultation, during which we will offer any advice on changes you could make to your diet.
As part of your Essential Health Check Tests, you will receive a full book of useful information, as well as extra help and advice.
Essential Health Check Tests At Home
All tests are also available for you to perform yourself at home in our shop. The price is exactly the same, so you technically get our friendly and professional service for free when you come to see us.
However, if you’re a long way from our clinics or if you’re struggling for time, the tests are simple to perform at home.
A word of warning though, if you’re squeamish with blood you may want to come in to see us!
