Concentrating solely on the bowel, colon hydrotherapy can facilitate the management of occasional constipation.
Unlike enemas, colon hydrotherapy aims to clear round to the cecum, the final part of the bowel.
Along with massage, provided by the colon hydrotherapist, it provides an effective and total cleanse.
Established by ARCH registered Hydrotherapist Jane Bush, Gedling Colonics pride ourselves on providing a friendly, highly professional service whilst performing our effective and soothing treatments.
Colonic irrigation involves cleansing toxins and leftover waste from the colon via the natural means of pure water, hence another term for the procedure – hydrotherapy.
Our fully trained, expert hydrotherapists perform our colonics in bespoke fitted surgeries in the heart of Gedling.
The treatment can be a great motivational incentive to help clients to put healthier lifestyle changes in place, to help their overall feeling of well-being.
We know the first colonic treatment can be a daunting step for anyone who hasn’t had one before. That’s why we provide a relaxed and friendly atmosphere whilst remaining highly professional at all times.
Our colonic irrigation treatment rooms are at an exceptional level of hygiene at all times to ensure a healthy and happy environment for our patients and make you feel as comfortable as possible.
Gedling Colonics offers various other treatments, including Coffee Enemas which help detox your liver and Health Tests to discover what may be affecting your wellbeing.
After many years of practising remedial massage, Jane trained to be a hydrotherapist in 2014 and started Gedling Colonics in 2015.
Jane’s family have a history of bowel problems and she wanted to do all she could to help those suffering from gut disorders.
Jane is also currently the Chair of ARCH – the colonic industry’s regulatory board – so you know you’re in the very best hands.
Jane offers treatments from her bespoke built clinic on Waverley Avenue.
Following over 30 years of working as a healthcare practitioner in the NHS, Sarah finished her hydrotherapy qualifications in 2022 and is now a member of ARCH.
Jane has known Sarah for many years since attending her former practice and was extremely excited to welcome her onboard at Gedling Colonics as soon as she knew she wanted to become a fellow colonic hydrotherapist.
Sarah will be using the West Bridgford clinic for all of her treatments.
Colonic Hydrotherapy (or Irrigation) is a beneficial treatment for many physical illnesses. As well as cleansing your system, it encourages a healthy body on the whole.
A Coffee Enema will detoxify your liver, as well as clean and heal the colon, improving peristalsis levels, increasing energy levels as well as improving moods.
We offer a range of York Laboratory Health Tests, which can be performed quickly and easily by just taking a small blood sample at our clinics.
Gedling Colonics stocks a wide range of supplements, including the Just For Tummies range, all targeted at aiding various gut-related conditions.
